This move follows our rebranding from Optigrid to Optogrid and completes the transition to a single, recognizable web address for the optical industry.
What changes for your clinic
For day-to-day operations, nothing changes. Here is a summary:
- No action required. Your login credentials stay the same. Any existing links or bookmarks pointing to optogrid.io will automatically redirect to the corresponding page on optogrid.com via permanent 301 redirects.
- The app is unaffected. The Optogrid web application at app.optogrid.com is separate from the marketing website and is not changing. Your daily measurement workflow continues without interruption.
- Support and documentation transition automatically. All support links and documentation URLs will redirect to their new locations. You will receive a notification email the day the switch goes live.
Why .com
The .com domain is the default expectation for professional software in healthcare. Securing optogrid.com gives us a single, recognizable address that is easier to share with colleagues and integrates cleanly with clinical platforms that validate vendor URLs.
It also allows us to better organize resources like our PD and SH measurement guides and product documentation under one consistent domain.
Migration timeline
The migration is scheduled for Q1 2026. Redirects from optogrid.io to optogrid.com will remain active indefinitely to prevent any broken links. On the day of the switch, all users will receive an email notification confirming the change.
